Description
Strong Floor Stripper for Stone and Mineral Surfaces – SGRISER®
When old oil- or wax-based treatments, heavy grease deposits and stubborn dirt build up on floors, a floor stripping cleaner provides the intensive action required. SGRISER® combines strong stripping and degreasing action in an alkaline solvent-based formula. It works on terracotta, natural stone, clinker, porcelain stoneware, marble, concrete, terrazzo and other stone and mineral surfaces. You can also use it on delicate materials such as polished marble and slate, while following the recommended cleaning and rinsing procedure.
When To Use It
Use SGRISER® when stone and mineral surfaces require intensive stripping and degreasing. It removes old oil- and/or wax-based impregnating treatments, heavy grease deposits and built-up greasy dirt. In addition, it removes biological deposits that cause darkening on outdoor surfaces. On terracotta, it can also help remove dark marks caused by sulphation.
What It Does
SGRISER® works as a heavy-duty stripping and degreasing cleaner for deep cleaning stone and mineral surfaces. It removes old oil- and/or wax-based impregnating treatments from terracotta, natural stone, clinker, porcelain stoneware, marble, concrete and terrazzo. It also removes heavy grease deposits from these materials. Moreover, you can use it on delicate surfaces such as polished marble and slate. The formula leaves no harmful residues in absorbent materials and does not leave unpleasant odours during use or in the treated area.
How It Works
Use SGRISER® undiluted or diluted with water, depending on the cleaning task. Apply it undiluted to strip surfaces and remove heavy residues of oil and wax. The undiluted product also tackles large build-ups of greasy dirt, organic residues and dark marks on stone and mineral surfaces.
For cleaning tasks that require strong degreasing action, dilute SGRISER® 1:1 with water. During standard stripping, spread the product evenly over the surface. Leave it to work for at least 10–20 minutes. Then scrub the area with synthetic-fibre pads, discs or nylon brushes.
Practical Advantage
SGRISER® gives you the flexibility to adapt the application to the type and level of dirt. Use it undiluted for more demanding stripping work or dilute it when strong degreasing action is sufficient.
Coverage depends on the level of contamination and the absorbency of the material. As a guide, 1 litre covers approximately 4–8 m² during intensive cleaning and 10–15 m² during standard cleaning.
Specific Uses
Use SGRISER® as a floor stripper for terracotta, natural stone, clinker, porcelain stoneware, marble, concrete and terrazzo. It also provides intensive degreasing action on the same materials.
For treatments that are particularly difficult to remove, work the undiluted product over the surface. Then allow it to dry on the material to increase its stripping action. Repeat the cleaning process if necessary.
Shelf Life
SGRISER® performs stripping and degreasing functions and does not provide a protective surface treatment. Keep the container tightly closed and store it between 0°C and +30°C. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight. Under these storage conditions, the product has a shelf life of 2 years.
Technical Limitations
- Do not use SGRISER® on wood, linoleum, rubber or PVC.
- Protect painted surfaces and anodised aluminium from contact with the product.
How to use
SGRISER® can be used undiluted or diluted with water, depending on the cleaning task and the type of dirt to remove.
- Undiluted: for intensive stripping and for removing heavy oil and wax residues, large build-ups of greasy dirt and organic residues. It can also help tackle dark marks on terracotta.
- Diluted 1:1 with water: for cleaning tasks that require strong degreasing and stripping action.
How To Use the Product
- For standard stripping, spread the product evenly over the surface and leave it to work for at least 10–20 minutes.
- Scrub the surface with synthetic-fibre pads or discs, or with nylon brushes.
- For treatments that are particularly difficult to remove, work SGRISER® undiluted over the surface and allow it to dry to increase its stripping action.
- Repeat the cleaning process if necessary.
- On acid-resistant surfaces, neutralise with an acidic water-based solution.
- On more delicate materials, such as polished marble, polished terrazzo and slate, rinse thoroughly with water only.
Coverage
The coverage varies according to the type of dirt and the absorbency of the material:
- for intensive cleaning: 1 litre per 4–8 m²;
- for standard cleaning: 1 litre per 10–15 m².
