How it works
The water-based formula contains waxes, resins and non-ionic surfactants. It spreads easily over clean, dry surfaces. BIOCARE OPACO renews the protective layer of natural matte oil finishes without changing their appearance. At the same time, it helps maintain the original finish for longer.

Recommended maintenance schedule
The application frequency depends on how heavily the surface is used. Apply BIOCARE OPACO every 4–6 months in high-traffic areas such as shops, public spaces, bars, restaurants, kitchens, entrances and bathrooms. Apply it every 12 months in low-traffic areas, including bedrooms, living rooms and other private spaces.
Technical limitations
- Use BIOCARE OPACO only on interior oil-finished wooden surfaces with a natural matte finish.
- Do not apply it to varnished or lacquered wood surfaces.
- Avoid high-alcohol cleaners on treated surfaces.
How to use
BIOCARE OPACO should be applied to clean, completely dry surfaces to ensure even application and effectively refresh the surface protection of the natural matte oil finish.
- Shake well before use.
- Apply a small amount of BIOCARE OPACO to a soft microfibre cloth. Spread a thin, even coat over the entire surface.
- Allow the product to dry completely. Avoid walking on the surface until it is fully dry.
Under normal conditions, BIOCARE OPACO dries in approximately 1–2 hours.

- Every 4–6 months on high-traffic surfaces exposed to frequent wear, such as shops, public areas, bars, restaurants, kitchens, entrances and bathrooms.

Coverage
Coverage may vary depending on the wood’s absorbency, the condition of the surface and the amount of product applied.
- On more absorbent surfaces, or where a greater amount of product is required, 1 litre covers approximately 30 m².
- On less absorbent surfaces or floors that receive regular maintenance, 1 litre covers up to approximately 40 m².
