Undiluted Use – Post-Construction Cleaning And First Post-Installation Cleaning
Use POWER DET® undiluted when you need to remove:
- installation and manufacturing films;
- construction dirt;
- heavy and stubborn cement grout residues.
This method is ideal as a first post-installation cleaning treatment for porcelain tiles. It is especially useful when routine cleaners cannot remove stubborn contamination.
Diluted Use – Deep Stain Removal Cleaning
For deep cleaning on heavily stained, marked and dirty surfaces, dilute POWER DET® as follows:
1 part product + 1–2 parts water
(example: 1 litre of product + 1 litre of water).
Application Procedure
During application, we recommend wearing protective gloves and avoiding contact with skin and eyes.
- Apply POWER DET® generously with a cloth over the surface to be cleaned.
- Work in sections of 4–5 m² to control the cleaning action correctly.
- Leave the product to act for at least 10 minutes. Do not allow it to dry on the surface.
- Scrub the surface with blue pads or blue floor discs, depending on the level of dirt.
- Remove residues and dirt with a microfibre cloth or a wet vacuum.
- Rinse 2 or 3 times with clean water until all product residues and dirt have been removed.
- Repeat the treatment if stubborn contamination remains.

The coverage of POWER DET® depends on:
- the type of dirt to remove (post-construction residues, surface films, marks or limescale);
- the level of contamination (light, medium or stubborn);
- the application method (undiluted or diluted) and the contact time.
Coverage For Post-Construction Cleaning (Undiluted Use)
When POWER DET® is used undiluted as a first post-installation cleaner or for construction dirt, the average coverage is:
1 L / 15–20 m²
At this stage, higher product consumption is normal because:
- the surface must remain well wet during the treatment for at least 10 minutes;
- heavier residues are present, such as installation films, cement grout residues, construction dirt and bonded contamination.
Practical example: 1 litre can treat about one 15–20 m² room with visible post-installation dirt and stubborn residues.
Coverage For Deep Stain Removal Cleaning (Diluted Use)
For deep cleaning on stained, marked or dirty porcelain tiles, use POWER DET® diluted 1:1 or 1:2. The average coverage is:
1 L / 30–60 m²
This higher coverage is possible because the goal is deep decontamination. It removes marks and thinner surface films compared with post-construction cleaning.
Practical example: 1 litre can treat about 2–3 rooms of 20 m² with marks and surface films caused by incorrect maintenance.
How Coverage Changes Based On Dirt Level
- Light dirt or superficial marks: higher coverage, close to 60 m²/L when diluted.
- Medium dirt or visible surface films: intermediate coverage, about 40–50 m²/L when diluted.

Coverage may decrease when:
- you need to repeat the treatment on heavily contaminated areas;
