FUGA PROTETTA is a stain-resistant treatment for grout lines specifically formulated for cementitious and synthetic grout. It helps reduce dirt absorption without changing the original appearance of the surface.

FUGA PROTETTA is suitable for protecting grout lines on floors and wall coverings in residential and professional environments. You can use it on both indoor and outdoor surfaces exposed to frequent dirt buildup, liquid absorption or greasy substances. The treatment works on cementitious and synthetic grout lines.
What It Does
FUGA PROTETTA works as a stain-resistant and dirt-repellent grout protector. It reduces the absorption of water-based and oily substances while helping grout stay cleaner for longer. At the same time, it simplifies routine cleaning and maintenance on treated surfaces.
How It Works
The water-based formula contains fluorinated oil-repellent protectors and siloxane oligomers. These active components penetrate the grout without creating surface films. As a result, the treatment remains invisible and preserves the original colour and finish of the grout. Outdoors, it also helps create a self-cleaning effect supported by rainwater while offering high resistance to weather exposure and foot traffic.

Drying Time and Performance
FUGA PROTETTA dries quickly and becomes walkable after approximately 10–15 minutes. The maximum stain-resistant protection develops after about 12 hours. In outdoor conditions, the treatment maintains its protective performance over time thanks to its high chemical stability and resistance to weathering and foot traffic.
Technical Limitations
FUGA PROTETTA is not a waterproof sealing product and must not be used to waterproof surfaces exposed to standing water above 10 cm, such as swimming pools or tanks. It does not block rising damp caused by moisture coming from wet substrates. After application, protect the treated surface from rain for at least 8 hours.

How to use
FUGA PROTETTA is a ready-to-use protective treatment designed for application only on perfectly clean and dry grout lines.
For the best surface preparation, clean the grout beforehand with PULI FUGHE.
- Shake the product well to evenly distribute the protective components in the formula.
- Spray small amounts of product directly onto the grout lines to be treated.
- Spread the product evenly with a soft cloth, avoiding surface buildup.
- Allow the surface to dry. The treatment dries in approximately 10–15 minutes and becomes walkable.
- Wait about 12 hours for the treatment to achieve maximum stain-resistant protection.
- During drying and curing time, avoid contact with water or rain.
Approximate Coverage
Coverage may vary depending on grout condition, porosity and the amount of product required during application.
With one 750 ml bottle, the approximate coverage is:
- On compact and lightly soiled grout lines, 750 ml covers approximately 45–50 m².
- On medium-soiled or more porous grout, 750 ml covers approximately 35–45 m².
- On highly porous, worn or very absorbent grout lines, coverage may decrease to approximately 30–35 m², depending on product absorption.
