Description
Characteristics and use:
BIOTOP OPACO is a specific finisher for oil-impregnated wood surfaces placed inside: parquet, planks, furniture, tables, beams, and wooden structures in general.
BIOTOP OPACO:
- is a water-based product, not dangerous and easy to use;
- is strongly recommended at the end of the treatments with oily-waxy impregnations, as it protects the oil-impregnated wooden surfaces from wear over time and prevents the reapplication of the impregnation;
- leaves a matte appearance to the surface without altering the material, does not form a thick film on the surface leaves a good vapor permeability to the material;
- makes a micro-waxy resin layer on the material, easy to apply, which reduces dirt penetration and makes the surfaces easier and faster to clean;
- is preserved over time through ordinary cleaning with the detergent PULIBRILL and the maintenance wax anti-dirt, anti-degradation BIOCARE OPACO.
How to use
- Apply on clean and dry surfaces;
- Shake very well before use;
- Apply the product in small quantities of product on the surface and distribute with a soft cloth, spreading fleece evenly on the surface;
- Do not step on the product during drying.
Generally dry in 1-2 hours.
Yield:
- Approximately 1lt/ 30 – 40 sqm.

Why do I need to apply BIOTOP OPACO when I impregnate the wood with oil?
It is recommended to apply BIOTOP OPACO on floors impregnated with oil and/ or wax because it is a water-based matte finish easy to apply that does not create film, does not change the natural appearance of the material, and protects the bottom treatment from the wear of the footfall and aggressive substances. It also makes it easier to maintain the floor over time.
How to keep BIOTOP OPAQUE and the matte surface treated with impregnating oil over time?
For ordinary cleaning, it is recommended to clean with the specific detergent PULIBRILL, because it does not deteriorate the finish and wood. For the periodic maintenance of the waxy finish BIOTOP OPACO it is advisable to apply the maintenance wax BIOCARE OPACO once every 3/6/12 months depending on the footfall, so as to replenish and maintain the aesthetic and protective characteristics of the initial treatment.
