Characteristics and use:
KING TEAK is an impregnating agent for marine wood. impregnating agent for the anti-degradation treatment of teak placed in a marine environment.
KING TEAK:
- forms a water-repellent, resistant and non-sticky protection ideal for vertical surfaces;
- avoids ageing and greying of wood;
- gives wood protection that allows it to breathe, preventing the stagnation of moisture, in order to inhibit the development of micro-organisms (algae, mould);
- can be pigmented with OILTONER ROSSO (3-5%) to customise the finish and make the treatment more stable against UV degradation;
- does not form surface films and leaves the natural appearance of the material;
- does not create peeling or exfoliation and does not require recoating.
When the surface of the wood appears deteriorated and wrinkled, reapply a coat of KING TEAK. The frequency of protection renewal depends on many factors: type of wood, exposure and use, climatic conditions.

KING TEAK protects teak in a marine environment, preserves the natural appearance of the wood. It also prolongs its life over time. Its fluorinated oil-wax formula creates a hydro-oil repellent barrier, prevents humidity from stagnating and reduces the risk of mold, algae and other microorganisms. It guarantees clean, dry and stable surfaces, even in difficult climatic conditions. The marine wood impregnator penetrates deeply without forming a film. It prevents peeling, exfoliation or the need for subsequent sanding. So it makes maintenance simple and quick. Each application gives new life to teak and prevents the material from graying and enhances its natural beauty. How to use
- Shake KING TEAK before use;
- Spread KING TEAK with a wax spreader, brush or soft cloth, wetting the surface evenly and following the absorption of the wood;
- After about 15-30 minutes, remove excess product from the surface by rubbing it with a soft cloth and brush;
- Apply a second coat, proceeding as above.
The treatment is completely dry after 12-24 hours depending on the environmental conditions.
ATTENTION: once the work is finished, it is advisable not to accumulate rags, sponges, sawdust, etc., soaked in KING TEAK and, due to the risk of spontaneous combustion, it is advisable to wet them with water and dispose of them.
Yield: depending on the absorption of the wood: 1lt/ 10-15 m2.
